Function

Shades are raised and lowered, traveling to the full stop position up or down.
You may stop the shade while it is in motion and with the Telis transmitters, set a favorite position for each shade
Using Source automated controls, you may specify intermediate stops including partial tilt open / close positions, group blinds, integrate sun sensors, create scenes, determine specific operations for specific times, etc.
- Shades may also be individually controlled by IR or RF remotes, provided the proper controls are in place either through “smart” motors or automation controls.

Size Limitations

Minimum width is 25”
Maximum theoretical width is 192” though this depends upon fabric. Generally, fabrics are approximately 96” wide. Shades can be railroaded (turning fabric 90°) for greater width though this will often require seaming of fabric to accommodate lengths greater than 84”.
Maximum height*: 404 Motor: 144” 509 Motor: 216”
* Maximum height is theoretical travel limit of motor. Actual maximum size will depend upon total weight of blind which is a function of blind type, width and height.
3 to 1 Rule: Shades that are longer than three (3) times the width will have a tendency to track off to the side, or telescope. For example, as shade that is 48” wide and more than 144” long will most likely telescope. This is not considered a defect. A solution may be to not raise the shades completely to avoid the most severe telescoping.
