Radio Frequency
- Commands are transmitted by radio waves, just like a garage door opener
- A single channel remote controls only one window or one common group
- A five channel remote can control up to five windows independently or “groups”
- Since it’s Radio Technology Somfy® (RTS), there is no need to point and shoot
- Pros: longer range, unaffected by strong sunlight
- Cons: more expensive and may be subject to structural interference such as steel studs, large appliances, etc., and sometime local radio interference.
