FUNCTION

Battery powered 2” horizontal blinds offer the tilt function only. Lift and tilt functions require AC motors.

Battery powered 2” Wood and Composite Blinds are available using both Infrared (IR) and Somfy’s RTS radio frequency remote control technology.

2” horizontal blinds use a 6 volt DC tilt only motor and are available in either a low profile or standard 2” x 2” gutter rail configuration.

The standard 6 volt DC tilt only motor may be controlled with RTS technology by adding a plug-in Radio Receiver. This a provides a number of RTS remote control options:

Single and Five Channel Remote Controls
Single and Five Channel Decora RTS wall switches
Individual and group controls

Motors are powered by:

Standard configuration is 4 AA batteries housed in a battery holder concealed within the headrail (batteries not included - e-batteries are recommended for longer life)
6 Volt DC transformers
Multi-shade power supplies

Size Limitations

2” Real Wood Blinds:
- Up to 30 square feet using the low profile headrail
- Up to 65 square feet using the gutter headrail
2” Composite Wood Blinds:
- Up to 22 square feet using the low profile headrail
- Up to 48 square feet using the gutter headrail

Larger sizes are available using AC motors housed within the gutter headrail
