Company History:
Source Northwest, Inc., was founded in 1978 as a distributor of hardware and housewares items to mass merchants of the Northwest.

In the fall of 1983, Source expanded its product line to include the fabrication of custom window coverings. When, in 1986, the wholesale distribution division was phased out custom window coverings became our sole business.  We went to market under our trade name, Source Window Coverings.

Source Northwest was honored to be included in the INC. Magazine's 1983 "Inc. 500" -- the 500 fastest growing privately held companies in the United States. Source was number 354 as measured in terms of sales growth over the preceding five years. Source Window Coverings was similarly honored to be included in Inc. Magazine's 1989 "INC. 500" at number 124.

Through the years, Source Window Coverings has manufactured; Hunter Douglas, Kirsch, Levolor, and Graber blinds and shades.

Our broad experience in working with various brands and suppliers has molded us into a creative, experienced, independent and forward-thinking company.
